Cheap Dog Beds – What Should You Look For When Choosing an Affordable Pet Bed?  

There are some cheap dog beds that are made with good quality materials.  Contrary to what you might think, you don’t have to buy an expensive designer pet bed in order to get quality.  However, you don’t want to buy one that is TOO cheap, as you will get what you pay for.  You should at least buy a decent priced bed with good materials. 

So, how can you tell if the bed you’re buying is one that will last for at least a few years?  Well, for starters, if it’s made with high memory foam, then you can be sure that it’s probably a good choice.  Some are especially designed for comfort, such as orthopedic dog beds.  You should also make sure that it is made to be durable, so that your canine friend doesn’t chew on it! 

It’s better to get a bed that’s too large than too small.  Your dog should be able to stretch out if he/she needs to.  Even if you have to pay extra money for an extra large bed, you should do so, as your doggie will thank you for it.  If you have a smaller dog, this shouldn’t be a problem.  For larger breeds, however, you need to pay attention to size. 

In order to make things more practical and easy on you, you should purchase a bed that can easily be washed.  Sometimes cheap dog beds will tear up in the washing machine, so keep that in mind when making your choice.  It may also be advisable to choose a bed that has removable inner contents---it’ll be easier to wash.
